Techcrunch DISRUPT is a global event that brings together entrepreneurs, VC’s, industry leaders, CEO’s, and startups for a multi-day conference. True to the name, disruption became inspiration for the creative marketing campaign that blew the roof off event marketing norms and gave the perfect canvas for TC to celebrate 10 years of this historic conference.
Oh but things never go to plan do they? Especially in 2020.
After a month of our creative being in-market, the pivot to a fully-virtual event meant our marketing (and the structure of the event itself) needed to change fast. In a few short weeks, myself and the creative team had to learn how to implement our creative into new virtual event software to make sure this years event blew away expectations, and did.
