Challenge

Develop a full-funnel campaign for Yahoo Finance Live, a new live streaming channel covering financial news and market trends.

Idea

Market data is everywhere, but Yahoo stood out by making their content more human. I wanted to create a campaign that showcased the wit and personality of our anchors, while showing how easy it is for anyone in the world to access smart financial insights, literally, anywhere they are.

One of the most successful and efficient campaigns Yahoo Finance has ever launched, to date.

For rich media and :6s pre-roll, we used parallax animation to blend live anchor footage with dynamic 3D environments—creating seamless, scene-shifting visuals that hammered our message home.

Through exclusive partnerships with USA Today, Bloomberg, and Business Insider, we created multi-channel takeovers that increased awareness and recall that made a lasting impact on our audience.

2020 “Anywhere” Refresh

After a strong year in market, the campaign needed a refresh. But in 2020, “Anywhere You Are” hit differently—suddenly, “Anywhere” was home, and life got a little chaotic. To meet the moment, we leaned into the chaos and reminded people that Yahoo Finance would keep delivering the good stuff, no matter what.
